Day 14: Favorite Fairytale.

I love fairytales.
When I was a kid, I had two big books of fairytales, one by Hans Christian Andersen and another by The Brothers Grimm. One of my favorite children's story is “The Fisherman and his wife”; a tale from The Brothers Grimm.
If you have never read this, find it and read it, then I know you will understand the moral of the story. The story is a great parable about greed and it appeals to many age groups.

Day 11: Turning Point in your life

"We're gonna make some big decisions in our little world" - Bob Ross
The older you get, the more turning points you see in your life. smile emoticon
A number of years ago, I received a Bob Ross painting starter kit for my birthday from my husband. From the moment I started following Bob’s instruction, I was able to start creating work right away, and I not onlyamazed myself but others as well. I then went on then to take classes from other artists and explore other techniques. Although I learned a wide variety of methods and techniques from other sources and employ them in my painting, I still will borrow a technique or two as need from Bob Ross.
I have always dreamed of painting beautiful works of art, my husband encouraged me, but the spark of my inspiration did not come to full fruition until I started understanding the beautiful vision with me! From the very first painting that I did, following Bob Ross’ instruction, I gained the confidence to keep pursuing what I thought was only a dream, to be an Artist. I truly enjoy painting more than I can express, and I wished I could have thanked Bob Ross in person for helping guide me to where I am today as an artist. I do know that we all can't be great artists, but we all can enjoy what Bob Ross taught us. I also love my art, my painting, no matter the medium, because it brings me joy and relives stress more than anything else I know of.
Thank you Mr. Ross for the joy and stress relief you have provided to me over the years.

Day 9: Favorite TV Show

"Breaking Bad".
This is the best TV show I have seen. Like a great novel slowly unfolding, it's funny, heartbreaking, incredibly tense, deeply disturbing. I managed to watch all 5 seasons in just over a month. I had to wait a while for the last few episodes, as they hadn't been broadcast, and the wait was unbearable. The story lines are so engrossing you won't be able to stop watching. You simply don't know and won't know what happens next until it actually happens that's how intense and mind-blowing this show is. Furthermore the actors are doing a tremendous job! All in all, absolutely brilliant.

Day 7 - Favorite Movie.

Jake Sully: I see you.
Neytiri: I see you.
Avatar will always hold a special place in my heart, right next to "The Lord of the Rings" "Dances with Wolves", "The Green Mile, "The Shawshank Redemption",etc . When I saw it in 3D it was 1st movie that actually made you feel like you were there part of the movie. Avatar is one of the most visually beautiful movies ever made.
It's a movie full of love, feelings, emotions.
My favorite quote from the movie:
Jake:“She said all energy is only borrowed, and one day you have to give it back.”

Day 6:

One of my all-time favorite books is "Robinson Crusoe" by Daniel Defoe - a book from my childhood.
I first encountered it as a child, and I remember reading it numerous times and then day dreaming about how I would survive on a desert island. For some reason, I always thought it would be cool to be Robinson Crusoe. smile emoticon I chose this book because I generally enjoy adventure themed classical books. I read this again recently and enjoyed is as much as the other 2 times.
My favorite quote from the book is "It is never too late to be wise." I would recommend this book to anyone who enjoys adventure of survival.

Great book for any age.

Day 5: Best Friend

Quick painting. Trying to break fear of people. smile emoticon

Charles W. Eliot said “Books are the quietest and most constant of friends; they are the most accessible and wisest of counselors, and the most patient of teachers.”
Book is the best friend, a human being can have. Book is a friend that is never disloyal. Books are my friends for life as because they never reject, never go or come, never fight and never blame us. Books are informative as well as instructive. Book – my best friend.
2. My husband likes to joke that the computer is my best electronic friend. smile emoticon
It is a big help in learning for me. Since moving to the United States without the English, the computer has enabled me to keep in touch with the friends. I honestly don’t know what I’d do without it.
3.I can't imagine a day without coffee. I can't imagine!
If my life had a flavor, it would be coffee.

Day 4: My favorite Food!

I love seafood. I love oysters! I like them with the tiniest bit of horseradish. Don't look at them for too long. smile emoticon The biggest rookie mistake is overthinking it. If you gape at a naked oyster for more than a minute or two, you probably aren’t going to be able to eat the thing. smile emoticon But as is true of so much in life, what becomes ugly on closer inspection may be beautiful in a passing glance.
Few seafoods have as much history or lore as oysters. The Romans first cultivated oysters over 2,000 years ago, and they have a rich tradition as an aphrodisiac (King Henry IV was said to eat 400 oysters before dinner). Today, this ubiquitous bivalve is more popular than ever, as a revival of restaurant oysters bars has given Americans more opportunity to slurp these plump, savory morsels.

Day 3: My favorite place! Sand, Sea & Sky.The smell of the salt air.

Having a favorite place to be one with nature is important. It is here that I seek solace when life presents its biggest challenges. It is here I come to slow down and find reminders of what’s most important to me. And I love closing my eyes and listening to the sounds of nature.
I need some Beach Therapy. smile emoticon Take me to the ocean. smile emoticon
P.S.I really believe that I must've been a Pirate in my previous life, I love the sea sooo much.smile emoticon

Day 2:

I love most mammals, but my favorites animal are goats. I don't care which breed, I love them all. Goats are smarter than dogs. If they like you and trust you, they will respond to your voice and come when called. They will also call out to you when they see you. But you will have to earn their love and trust.
Goats in general are very social, curious, gentle, independent and intelligent creatures and always ready for mischief. Each goat has her own distinct personality . They are very loving and loyal and incredibly demanding. They will explore anything new or unfamiliar in their surroundings. Goats are very clean eaters. They do not eat tin cans and do not like to eat any food that has been soiled, contaminated or has been on the ground.
I always wanted to keep dairy goats. I wanted my own fresh—and free—goat milk, goat cheese, goat milk yogurt.
That’s why I like goats! I just adore them!
