A pleasant park for a pleasant day. Botanical Gardens,Fort Worth, TX 03.2010 by Elena Vacha

One of my favorite spots in FW is the botanical gardens.
Acres of lawns, flowers, plants, roses, water gardens, trees and nature.
The spring time is the very best time to go to the gardens and see all the blooming beauty.
This is a great spot for you garden lovers and a great way to spend a leisurely weekend.
There are many walking trails, water features, shaded areas, etc.
Every couple of years they have a butterfly exhibit in the conservatory which is amazing.
They import thousands of larvae and hatch them out throughout the weeks of the exhibit.
It's spectacular, and so much fun.
All of the gardens are lovely, but the Japanese Garden is especially beautiful.
Great place for families and kids of all ages.
I'm so glad I live here and can go to this Beautiful place whenever I want.
I try to go 2 or 3 times a year just to walk the gardens.
It is a beautiful place right in the middle of the city.
Take a picnic and a blanket and spread out on the lawn and just enjoy the day.
